Boston Restaurant Week -- Boston

Boston Restaurant Week is an occasion for diners to sample prix-fixe menus at some of the city's best restaurants at greatly reduced prices. Participating restaurants serve three-course (appetizer, entree and dessert), prix-fixe meals for $20.10 at lunch and $33.10 at dinner. The price per person does not include beverages, tax or a gratuity. Diners with lighter appetites can opt for a two-course (entree and appetizer or dessert) lunch menu priced at $15.10 at participating restaurants. Dates: March 14-19 and March 21-26. Wine Dinner Series: Tempranillo -- Boston

Take a culinary wine tour around the world. This series is designed to educate and entertain. Hosts act as tour guides, moving from region to region and explaining the complexities of each selection. Guests are treated to a four-course dinner, including the various wines to accompany their dining and educational experience. Reservations are required. Tempranillo is a black grape varietal widely grown to make full-bodied red wines. The Phoenicians brought this grape to the Iberian peninsula. Celebrate Seafood Dinner Series -- Boston
