Awesome Rafting in the Berkshires!

Opened in 1983, Crab Apple is a family owned business with three generations working our rivers in Maine and Massachusetts. In Massachusetts we offer a wide range of trips on the dam controlled Deerfield River. Since running the first ever raft trips on the Deerfield in 1989, we offer full day rafting trips on mild Class 1-3 rapids and aggressive Class 3-4 rapids controlled by hydroelectric dams. We also offer half-day trips in guided rafts or inflatable kayaks for ages 5 and up.

Our staff is like family and our guests become family as well. We love showing rafters the gorgeous Deerfield in the calm sections of river in between running the fun rapids the Deerfield has to offer. Our guides are full of knowledge on local history, wildlife and hydrology.

All Crab Apple trips are led by family members and feature great food, excellent equipment and fantastic guides. Our riverside base camp is comfortable and convenient. We are proud to offer great service with a personal touch since 1983. Call 1-800-553-RAFT(7238) or visit or www.crabapplewhitewater.com to book a great adventure for your family, friends or group.
