New England Baklava Company
Andrea Mason, the chef and owner of The New England Baklava Company, has created a unique New England-style Baklava using cranberries and maple syrup instead of honey. The bakers build their baklavas with layer upon layer of buttered phyllo dough, then add a mixture of chopped walnuts and dried cranberries. It's baked to a perfect golden brown and then they drench the baklava in a sauce made with New England maple syrup. Among the varieties are cranberry baklava, ginger walnut cranberry baklava, white chocolate walnut cranberry baklava and dark chocolate walnut cranberry baklava.
