The Museum Store at the Springfield Museums features unusual selections that will spark a child’s creativity or appeal to adults looking for something special. The Store specializes in the work of artisans from the region, such as blown-glass planets and vases by Josh Simpson, luxurious hand-dyed and hand-woven scarves, one-of-a-kind silver and gemstone jewelry by designer Bianca Zoe, and other examples of fine craftsmanship. In addition to being the source for Dr. Seuss books, toys and games, the Store carries wonderfully creative science and craft kits for children, fantastic books, and a large selection of Folkmanis puppets of realistic animals and imaginary creatures. Both little girls and collectors will love the Ellis Island dolls representing immigrant children, and the adorably costumed Bearington Bears. Shoppers don’t need to pay museum admission to visit the Museum Store, and parking is free.
