Park and head to Rock Harbor early to stake out your spot. Besides Rock Harbor, other viewing areas are Skaket Beach; the opposite side of Rock Harbor (reached via Prince Road in Eastham or Bay View Road in Eastham); and Crosby Beach or Linnell Landing Beach in Brewster. Rain date is July 5.

Salem Celebrates the 4th 2018 - Salem, MA

Jul 4, 2018 - Jul 4, 2018 Derby Wharf, 160 Derby Street Salem, MA

Festivities begin at 5 p.m. with a musical act performing on the main stage. Opening ceremonies begin at 7:15 p.m. and are followed by a two-hour pops concert by the Hillyer Festival Orchestra, a 40-piece ensemble with vocal soloists performing opera to Broadway favorites. At 9:15 p.m. a magnificent fireworks display is launched from Derby Wharf accompanied by live music by the orchestra.

4th of July 2018 Festivities in Barnstable and Hyannis

Barnstable/West Barnstable . Parade begins at the County Complex on Railroad Avenue, proceeds down Main Street; turns left onto Mill Way and continues to the Village Hollow. 9 a.m.
Hyannisport Beach Club 2K run/parade at 9 a.m.
Centerville. Parade starts at Centerville Elementary School, proceeds up Bay Lane, turns right onto Bumps River Road; turns left onto Park Avenue; turns right onto Main Street; and continues to the Centerville Recreation Building. 10 a.m.
Cotuit. Parade will begin at the Cotuit post office, proceed down School Street to Main Street; left on Main Street to the Waldorf School. 11 a.m.
Hyannisport. Parade will begin at the Hyannisport post office; left on Washington Avenue; right on Lafayette Avenue; left on Winchester Avenue; left on Scudder Avenue; and continue on Dale Avenue to the West Beach Club. 11 a.m.
Hyannis The best viewing is along Ocean Street at Hyannis Harbor. If you are a boater and want to participate, the boats assemble off of Hyannis Yacht Club and head to the inner harbor at 2 p.m.
Hyannis. The parade begins at Ocean Street and travels along Main Street, ending at Sea Street. Come enjoy concerts, fireworks, street performers, musicians, family lawn games, jugglers, face painting, free trolley rides around the Village Green. Parade at 4 p.m.
Concert by town band on the Village Green, Hyannis. Family lawn games, rides by the Roaming Railroad, Nicholas Suchecki Jazz Quartet, The Suspenders – juggling duo, Michael Fenuccio, Jordan Renzi. 5-7 p.m.
Concert with JO&CO at Aselton Park, Hyannis, 7 p.m.

Top of The Hub Celebrates the Fourth of July

The festivities begin a Chef's Welcome Reception, Champagne toast and open bar with hors d’oeuvres amid live music, followed by a five-course dinner with a cash bar. At 8:30 p.m., a simulcast of the Boston Pops concert will begin. A sky-high view of the fireworks over The Charles River (weather permitting) will cap the evening. Guests may also view the fireworks from the Skywalk Observatory. Advance credit card reservations are required. For guests age 21 and older.

Boston Pops Independence Day Concert and Fireworks 2018

Boston Pops July 4 concert Conductor Keith Lockhart directs the Boston Pops Orchestra at the Hatch Shell, on the Esplanade. The headliner for the 2018 Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular is singer/songwriter Rachel Platten, joined by singer Rhiannon Giddens, folk music duo Indigo Girls. Actor and dancer Rita Moreno, who played Anita in “West Side Story,” will make a special appearance in honor of the Leonard Bernstein centennial tribute.
The same program is repeated on July 4, with the addition of a spectacular fireworks display over the Charles River after the musical program. The best place for viewing the fireworks is along Memorial Drive on the Cambridge side of the Charles River. Fireworks are on July 4, only. Seating for both nights is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fourth of July Parade, Concert and Fireworks 2018

The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. at Cordage Park Marketplace on Court Street and moves along Curt Street through downtown Plymouth and Main Street, continuing to Water Street. The Independence Day Concert, featuring patriotic favorites, is at 7:30 p.m. Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra performs an energy-packed mix of patriotic, stage and television music, with selections from "West Side Story," a reading of the Declaration of Independence, and performance of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture and special tributes to Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong. Fireworks begin about 9:15 p.m.
