Let the fun of traveling to Martha’s Vineyard begin on this comfortable ferry
Getting to Martha’s Vineyard is half the fun when you take the Island Queen out of Falmouth. Parking is a cinch, only 200 yards from the dock (or you can use valet services). And the trip itself over the sparkling waters of Nantucket Sound? It’s a smooth, scenic 35 minutes, with ever-changing views of the Vineyard and Cape Cod. The passenger-only ferry has an enclosed lounge, outside decks and a full-service drinks and snack bar. Bring your bike, kayak, surf board or paddle board because the Vineyard’s beaches and scenic bike trails are unrivaled. Rent a car or take the bus to explore charming Oak Bluffs, bustling Edgartown and the breathtaking red clay Gay Head Cliffs of Aquinnah.
