The Head of the Charles Regatta

Since 1965, the Head of the Charles Regatta has brought thousands of rowers to the Charles River to compete in the world's largest 3-day regatta! This year, nearly 12,000 rowers from around the globe will compete in the 2026 Head of the Charles Regatta. Don't miss it!

Self-Guided Fall Orchard Walk at Cider Hill Farm

Bundle up and get out amongst the farm's 10,000 fruit trees. Enjoy the fresh air and views as you walk through the orchards. Open Saturdays and Sundays 8 a.m. - 2 p.m from Saturday 10/31 - Sunday 11/29. FREE. No registration required. Closed weekdays and weekend afternoons. We want you to have a beautiful space to come and be! Area closures possible. The farm store is open daily 8 am - 6 pm through December 13.

All proceeds support Community Harvest Project’s mission to engage and educate volunteers to grow fruits and vegetables for local hunger relief.

Fall Cider Run 5K & Donut Dash

Run, walk, stroll on the farm. This race combines some of our favorite things - being outside on the farm with family and friends, changing seasons, sipping cider and cider donuts! All ages and levels welcome + encouraged. 5K race routes wiggles through fields, orchards and forest and includes challenging areas with uneven terrain. It's pretty awesome! Kid's Donut Dashes (400m and 800m) start and finish before 5K race begins. So sorry - no pets permitted on the farm. --- Registration: Pre-registration is required. Register early to save! Race is timed and managed by High5EM. --- This race is part of a 3 part series with a Spring Cider Run on May 30 and a Summer Cider Run on July 11.

Join Us for the 2nd Annual Berkshire Mini-March – Help End Hunger in Western Massachusetts Take steps toward a hunger-free community! Join Monte Belmonte and fellow Food Bank supporters in downtown Pittsfield for the 2nd Annual Berkshire Mini-March, a 3-mile walk starting and ending at Hot Plate Brewing Co. Along the route, you’ll visit local Food Bank member pantries, including Mercado De Vida, Berkshire Dream Center, and the Pittsfield Community Pantry—seeing firsthand the places that make a difference every day. After the walk, celebrate your impact from 12–2 p.m. at Hot Plate Brewing with beverages, lunch, and live music! Your participation helps raise awareness and funds for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts, working to ensure that everyone in our region has access to food. Together, we can help end hunger in Western Massachusetts.

Every November, the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts teams up with Monte Belmonte of NEPM to lead a powerful march against hunger—covering 43 miles from Springfield to Greenfield. This two-day event brings together Monte, Congressman Jim McGovern, Food Bank Executive Director Andrew Morehouse, and a passionate community of supporters, all united to raise critical funds that help provide healthy meals to our Western Massachusetts community. Why Participate? Hunger is a reality for thousands of families in Western Massachusetts. By joining the march and fundraising, you’re making a direct impact—every dollar raised helps the Food Bank deliver food to those who need it. Your support ensures that no one in our community has to choose between food and other essentials. The March spans two days, and you can decide how far you want to go—take on the full 43 miles or join for a portion of the journey. Every step counts toward ending hunger. Be part of this incredible tradition. Walk with us, fundraise, and help create a stronger, healthier Western Massachusetts!

Get ready to dash into fall at the annual Revere Beach Pumpkin Dash 5K! This festive, family-friendly event features a flat and fast beachside course along scenic Revere Beach, with something for everyone to enjoy after the race.

Fall Festival Activities
🎃 FREE Kids Pumpkin Patch: Children ages 12 and under can pick their own pumpkin to take home and decorate. Located on Revere Beach across from the Christina & John Markey Bridge.
🍪 FREE Kids Cookie Decorating: Kids ages 12 and under can decorate their own cookies at the base of the Christina & John Markey Bridge.
🎶 Live Music: Enjoy live music throughout the event and keep the fall festivities going after the race.
🍻 Beer Garden: Runners ages 21+ will receive one complimentary post-race drink with registration.

Whether you’re running the 5K or joining the festivities, come enjoy a fun-filled day of fitness, music, pumpkins, and fall fun at Revere Beach!
