Butternut has 22 downhill ski trails, 110 skiable acres, 10 lifts (3 quads, 4 carpets), a 240-member professional ski school, and a 7-lane tubing center, and a terrain park. Also, private lessons in telemark skiing and a Women's Wednesday instructional program. Children’s offerings include Adventurers (skiers ages 4-13) and miniRIDERS (snowboarders ages 7-13) kids programs.

The Amesbury Sports Park has the steepest snow tubing hill in New England, with 6 to 10 tubing lanes open, depending on conditions. The hills are serviced by a conveyor belt lift that guests stand on and ride to the top, and a handle tow lift. Night tubing under lights is offered all season. Children must be at least 4 years old to tube. “Ride the Frozen Rapids” opens in January 2011 and up to 10 people to board a white water raft and zip down the hill. Snowmaking ensures coverage. Hours: Thursdays and Fridays, 3:30 to 9 p.m.; Saturdays, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sundays, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.

Nashoba Valley's Snow Tubing Park is open daily and nightly. Fifteen lanes are serviced by four lifts. The tubing park also consists of an on-site lodge, with snack bar and TV. Hours: Weekdays, 1 to 10 p.m.; weekends, holidays and holiday weeks, 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Entrance to the tubing park is separate from the entrance to the ski area. Tubing park entrance is at 179 Great Road, Littleton.
