This market offers up fresh Massachusetts produce all summer long. Here you’ll find berries, heirloom tomatoes, corn, flowers, Asian vegetables, and a rotating cast of bakers and specialty vendors.

Brookline Farmers Market 2012

Center Street West Parking Lot, 1 block west of Coolidge Corner Brookline, MA

Vegetables, fruits, herbs, cheese, eggs, ice cream, plants, cut flowers, tarts, home baked pies, breads, preserves, strawberries, plums, apples, blueberries, peaches, pears, cherries, and nectarines, honey, turkey, beef, and lamb will be available.

Harvard University Farmers Market 2012

Corner of Oxford and Kirkland streets Cambridge, MA 02138

This market features produce and baked goods, and rotating specialty vendors with everything from dessert sauces to herbs to cheeses to maple syrup. Cooking demonstrations will also be featured.

Lexington Farmers Market 2012

Intersection of Woburn Street and Massachusetts Avenue Lexington, MA 02420

In addition to the fresh produce you expect to find at a farmers’ market, Lexington offers herbs, flowers, herbal vinegars and other herb-based products, beef, pork, lamb and poultry, sheep’s milk, fresh fish, mozzarella cheese, dips, sauces, dressings, black bean salsa, bread, pies, tarts, quiche, cakes, honey, beeswax and other honey-based products, jams, jellies, applesauce, apple butter, cranberry sauce, relishes, cider doughnuts, chocolate, gelato and sorbet, dessert sauces, homemade cookies, biscotti, granola, scones, and more.

SoWa Farmers Market and Bazaar 2012

460 Harrison Avenue Boston, MA

SoWa is the cultural district in Boston located South of Washington Street, which is where it gets its name. Sundays in SoWa became a big hit six years ago with the beginning of the SoWa Open Market – an open air crafts and art market showcasing fun handmade goods by talented small business owners. The Market continues to grow, now filling the parking lot at 460 Harrison each Sunday of the season with vendors from all over New England and beyond. The SoWa Open Market, the SoWa Vintage Market and the SoWa Farmers Market. Together, these three weekly events make SoWa Sundays.

Waltham Farmers Market 2012

Sovereign Bank Parking Lot, 1 Moody Street at Main Street Waltham, MA

The Waltham Farmers Market will offer up delicious local treats like fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, eggs, hamburger, popcorn, maple syrup, and crafts like hand-blown glass. Market accepts SNAP/EBT cards, for purchase of food only, and debit/credit cards, for purchase of any item. The cards may be used to purchase market tokens which will be accepted by vendors. WIC coupons are also accepted by all farmers. Senior citizens receive a 10 percent discount at participating vendors. Wheelchair accessible.
The Spring Market in 2012 will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 12 and 13, on the Waltham Common (the big green space across the street from our usual location.)
