For 35 years our family run resort has been offering great skiing at affordable prices. The terrain is still great and the prices are still affordable. Stay, play and ski at our children’s day center, conveniently located along the main entrance walkway. The Child Care has indoor and outdoor play daily including creative crafts, music and drama, story time, games, sliding and snow play. The center is supervised by warm, energetic and mature staff with many years of experience caring for children.

A ski lesson program for ages 3-12 and snowboard program for ages 8-12 are available through the Center. We feature a ratio of 1 instructor per 3 children for beginners and 1 to 5 for more advanced skiers and snowboarders. All staff are trained, CORI checked and experienced working with children.

Crab Apple Whitewater is New England’s largest rafting company, offering 5 rafting and inflatable kayaking trips on the Deerfield River in western Massachusetts as well as trips in Maine and Vermont. At Historic Deerfield children and their families can enjoy a trip through time at the Wells-Thorne house, a visit to the one-room schoolhouse, or using the looms at Hall Tavern. A special activity pack is also available to enhance the outdoor experience of the Blake Meadow Walk. Starting May 10, each weekend from noon to 4:00 pm families can visit the History Workshop where they will enjoy dressing up like an 18th century family, participating in games, using reproduction artifacts, and making a project to take home.
